Voice picking with Text-To-Speech on Motorola WT4090 terminals, speeding up warehouse operations.
The challenge
Picking speed in the central warehouse had to increase without sacrificing accuracy. Classic scanner-based picking required hands busy and eyes on the terminal, limiting operator cadence.
The solution
Rosistem deployed a Pick By Voice system with Text-To-Speech on belt-worn Motorola WT4090 terminals, combined with RS409 ring scanners. Operators hear commands in their headset, reply verbally or scan, and the system validates in real time. Both hands remain free for handling goods.
