The problem we solve

Conveyor, sorter and printer assets from 5–10 different vendors rarely speak the same protocol. Without an integration layer, each line change becomes a 3–6 month bespoke project and downtime climbs above 8%.

What you get

Industrial automation: robotics, machine vision and laser marking.

Rosistem delivers integrated solutions for high-speed identification, quality control and permanent product marking by combining conveyors, sensors, robots, cameras and laser technology. Every project is engineered around PLC-based control systems that talk to production and warehouse platforms (MES, WMS, ERP), so automation data flows back into the business in real time. Typical applications include robotic palletizing, pick-and-place, code reading and OCR, presence and surface inspection, plus laser marking on metals, plastics and electronics.

01 · Capability

Robotic cells & palletizing

Robotic cells handle palletizing, depalletizing and pick-and-place for FMCG, automotive and metal parts. Each cell is wrapped in PLC-driven safety interlocks and integrated with the WMS and MES so that every pallet built is logged with its SSCC, pattern and weight. Depalletizing cells feed line-side buffers, and pick-and-place robots work alongside vision cameras for variable-position parts.

02 · Capability

Machine vision — code reading, OCR & inspection

Fixed-mount and line-scan cameras read 1D and 2D codes at high speed, perform OCR on lot and expiry strings, and carry out quality inspection (presence, orientation, surface defects, polarity on PCBs). Captured data is cross-checked with the production order in real time, so mis-labeled or defective products are rejected before they leave the line. Camera verification is standard on packaging and FMCG high-speed lines.

03 · Capability

Laser marking & serialization

Laser marking produces permanent, legible marks on metals, plastics and electronics — ideal for VIN codes on automotive parts, 2D codes on PCBs, UDI codes for medical devices and high-speed date codes on FMCG packaging. Serialization modules guarantee each unit carries a unique identifier, which is then stored in a central database for recall and audit purposes. This is a regulatory requirement in pharma and automotive.

04 · Capability

Integration with WMS, MES & ERP

Every automation line that Rosistem builds is integrated with upstream and downstream business systems. PLC and vision data is streamed to the MES for OEE reporting, to the WMS for inventory and to the ERP for production closing. Custom software written in C# / .NET glues everything together, enabling traceability scenarios that cover raw-material receipt, production, serialization, warehouse put-away and customer dispatch as a single continuous record.

Process

How Automation Integrates with WMS

Step 1: Flow analysis and design
Our team analyzes the warehouse layout, volumes, and product typology. We design the optimal automation solution: zones to automate, equipment type, and integration interfaces with WMS.

Step 2: WMS ↔ Equipment integration
WMS sends real-time commands to robots (AMR/AGV), conveyors, and sorters via API or industrial protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus). Every movement is confirmed and recorded in WMS.

Step 3: Machine vision and automatic verification
Industrial cameras verify barcodes and product dimensions on the conveyor. Unknown or damaged products are automatically diverted to an exceptions lane for manual inspection.

Step 4: Continuous monitoring and optimization
The automation dashboard shows real-time KPIs: throughput rate, cycle times, error rates per equipment. Proactive alerts identify bottlenecks before they affect production.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to your questions

Which robot manufacturers do you work with?

We have integration experience with Geek+, HAI Robotics, Quicktron, and ROS-based AMRs. For AGV conveyors we work with Interroll, Hytrol, and local manufacturers. We are brand-agnostic — we integrate any equipment with an open API.

How long does an automation project take?

A typical project takes 3-6 months: 4-6 weeks analysis+design, 6-10 weeks WMS+integration implementation, 2-4 weeks testing and go-live. More complex projects (large sorters, AS/RS) can take 9-12 months.

Can I automate partially, without changing the whole warehouse?

Yes. Most often we start with the shipping area (pick-to-light, parcel sorters) or with a receiving line. Modular automation allows gradual expansion without stopping operations.

What ROI can I expect?

Typical warehouse automation projects show ROI in 18-36 months through reduced labor costs (40-60%), increased order accuracy (99.9%+), and increased processing capacity without additional space.
