Siemens — Full WMS (Checking + Assets + Stock) at Petrobrazi

The challenge

In a regulated industrial environment, with thousands of parts, tools and equipment loaned daily between service and maintenance teams, Siemens needed to unify three separate operational flows at the Petrobrazi Refinery platform: tracking equipment taken into the field, fixed-asset management and technical consumables control.

The solution

Rosistem delivered a WMS platform built from three interconnected modules: Rosistem Checking for service-equipment check-in / check-out (who took what, when, for which work order), Rosistem Assets for fixed-asset inventory and traceability (barcode tagging, periodic inspections), Rosistem Stock for consumables management (goods-receipt, cost-center issues, reorder points). All data converges into a single dashboard.

Implementation

The project started with an on-site discovery phase, during which the Rosistem team mapped existing flows at the Petrobrazi platform and identified the points where information was lost between shifts. After go-live, each Siemens employee scans equipment on pickup from the warehouse with a Motorola MC3090 terminal or an LS2208 scanner; the system automatically requests the work-order number, destination and expected return. On return, the same equipment is scanned again and a Zebra GK420t printer issues the return slip.
