Cora — Meal-voucher sorting, validation and reporting app

Dedicated application for Cora hypermarkets that automates the daily meal-voucher sorting, validation and reporting process — replacing manual counting with a fast, auditable flow with per-voucher traceability.

Cora

The challenge

At the end of each sales day, Cora cashiers collected thousands of meal vouchers from different issuers (Up, Sodexo, Edenred, etc.), each with its own design, serial and validity rules. The manual process meant hours of per-issuer sorting, visual expiry checks and manual ledger entry — with a high risk of errors, losses and settlement disputes with issuers.

The solution

Rosistem developed a dedicated application that scans each voucher, automatically identifies the issuer by serial / design, checks validity and adds it to the correct ledger. Continuous scanning produces in real time:

  • Per-issuer totals for settlement
  • Report of expired or invalid vouchers
  • Electronic file sent directly to each issuer

Voucher images remain attached to each record, eliminating post-settlement disputes.

Field usage

The application runs either on high-speed document scanners or on camera-equipped tablets, depending on each hypermarket's volume. The interface is designed for non-IT operators: a single "Start session" button, automatic background validation, audio alerts for vouchers needing manual attention.
